We’ve been asked by customers and users for the ability to export data from SM2’s results reports in a format that allows users to use that data with other reporting solutions. We’ve always offered the ability to export but the entire record came out as one data field. Now we’ve added the ability to choose the fields within the SM2 search results when you export.…

Maybe the hottest new job in the marketing world, that's what. And I have to admit that I just heard the term on Connie's blog (and about ten other places simultaneously). Yet as we struggle with developing a viable model for social media engagement, Community Managers are probably the easiest way to wrap our arms around a description of the process. The job description for a community manager is also the process description for successful engagement.… Continue

Some of you may have noticed that we experienced a period of downtime last Friday. The issue was related to our data-center rather than the application itself, however it was still frustrating to us as we've managed to stay up through all kinds of growth issues- things that typically bring down rapidly growing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. That being said, we have made some changes to hopefully ensure that this doesn't take place again.

Hey guys, sorry I'm not too great about keeping up with my blog here in the community but we do have a new release I wanted to tell you about, and there were a lot of useful tools added. To start, we've added two new screens in our latest release: Alerts and Domains. Alerts is a great new tool that gives you the ability to receive email notifications based on two parts. The first option is percentage change. You input a percentage of change you wish to be notified about, and if any search yield… Continue

Last night we released SM2 2.8. This release was a lot of hard work, but was completely worth it. You can now export results, get a weekly overview report, and we've incorporated a new search system. Try it out, let us know what you think. http://sm2.techrigy.com

Every so often Aaron and I sit down and discuss the ways we could improve SM2 from a user standpoint. This proves to be a difficult task as it usually becomes a guessing game. It is hard for us to distance ourselves from the application, or at least enough to really have the mindset of a new user. I thought it would be beneficial to ask the community their views. We listen closely to user feedback about SM2, and most of our features have come by request. So please, if you have any thoughts abou… Continue

Hello SM2 Community! I received a lot of emails regarding downtime today. We had an emergency maintenance earlier today and had to take the system offline. Rest assured, this is not a regular occurrence. We are now running again on all cylinders. If there are any other questions, you can shoot me an email at: jim@techrigy.com. Thanks again for all your support! - Jim (Manager, Community Support)
