SM2 2.9

Hey guys, sorry I'm not too great about keeping up with my blog here in the community but we do have a new release I wanted to tell you about, and there were a lot of useful tools added.

To start, we've added two new screens in our latest release: Alerts and Domains. Alerts is a great new tool that gives you the ability to receive email notifications based on two parts. The first option is percentage change. You input a percentage of change you wish to be notified about, and if any search yields that change (compared to a 6 week average) you will receive an email. The second alert allows you to pick a category, and whenever a search assigns a result it will send you an email telling you how many results were assigned to that category.

Domains is a new report screen which gives you a breakdown of the top domains that your results come from. A bar chart shows the results for 10 domains, and below that is a grid that lists the top 100 domains for your account.

We added a new help function in all the pages of SM2, allowing users to see video tutorials of SM2. As of now, we only have 3 videos done (Compare Trends, Check Wikis, and Category Rules) but more will be up very soon. These videos walk you through how to set up the page, and tell you what each page should do for you.
