Listening is the first step when considering working with customers online. SM2 is the perfect tool for doing that and gathering the results.

Here are 5 reasons to use it:

1. identifying where conversations are taking place about your brand
2. building brand
3. brand reparation including crisis management
4. reporting to management about the progress of your online engagement efforts
5. provides a high level overview of sentiment about your brand.

Each day you receive a report listing sources where your keywords were found. These provide you with direct paths to review what's being said & respond appropriately. This is really important in crisis situations when responding quickly is important (in that case you can set up alerts & get immediate notification).

Aaron has created a great set of videos that cover each portion of SM2 in detail. Once we get those posted I will continue this series & link to the one(s) that are most applicable for the application.
