Lunch Bag Art

I stumbled on this blog from a tweet (@joerib). This dude makes a new lunch bag for his kids every single day. I think I’m gonna ask him to pack me lunches for work everyday. Lunchbag Art

Photoshop vs Fireworks

When I first started designing websites, I used FrontPage to code, and Fireworks to create my graphics. My projects were absolutely hideous. Until quite recently Fireworks was always my go to program for designing graphics. It was familiar to me, and I have little patience for learning new software. A few months ago I got Photoshop, [...]

Curse Words and the Web

One of my favorite time waster websites is Cursebird. It’s a great site that displays the latest tweets that contain swear words. Now I don’t believe that Twitter should be reserved for professionals (there are plenty who do). It’s a networking tool, and is open to everyone for use however they see fit. I don’t [...]

Blog Redesign: Leave Your Opinion

So I spent a good deal of time revamping my blog/portfolio site. I’m interested in some user feedback. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

SM2 2.9

Hey guys, sorry I'm not too great about keeping up with my blog here in the community but we do have a new release I wanted to tell you about, and there were a lot of useful tools added. To start, we've added two new screens in our latest release: Alerts and Domains. Alerts is a great new tool that gives you the ability to receive email notifications based on two parts. The first option is percentage change. You input a percentage of change you wish to be notified about, and if any search yield… Continue

SM2 2.8

Last night we released SM2 2.8. This release was a lot of hard work, but was completely worth it. You can now export results, get a weekly overview report, and we've incorporated a new search system. Try it out, let us know what you think. http://sm2.techrigy.com

SM2 Request: give us your feedback

Every so often Aaron and I sit down and discuss the ways we could improve SM2 from a user standpoint. This proves to be a difficult task as it usually becomes a guessing game. It is hard for us to distance ourselves from the application, or at least enough to really have the mindset of a new user. I thought it would be beneficial to ask the community their views. We listen closely to user feedback about SM2, and most of our features have come by request. So please, if you have any thoughts abou… Continue

SM2 2.6

I am probably more excited about this latest release than any other. We pushed out our new community feature late last night, giving our users the ability to share Folder Rules (categorization of search results). We worked hard the last couple of weeks to get this working, and it will be a huge help to new users who aren't familiar with our product. Just head over the Community section of the navigation, and select "Share Folders". Once there you will see a grid of community data (for now, most… Continue

SM2 Features

We are working on some sweet new features for the application. Over the next few weeks we are implementing a community section of SM2. This will give users the ability to share some parts of their accounts with other members, such as: lists of blogs, folder rules, and lists of influencers by verticals. Users can then take, a list blogs for example, and use those blogs in their searches.
